Free Laser Navigation Controls Driverless Transport System

AGV, the clever CALL THE DONKEY system

We place the same high demands on navigation as we do on our vehicles - "keep it simple":
Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) should function easily and safely in an already existing environment.
We do not only want to offer an automated guided vehicle system for mass production! Our Automated Guided Vehicles are, so to speak, "off the shelf" Automated Guided Vehicles - no costly special solutions.
With CALL THE DONKEY we have developed a driverless transport system that does exactly that: Without additional infrastructure, the automated guided vehicle moves within the existing conditions and the navigation is oriented exclusively to the natural environment. The automated guided vehicle is steered to the stations or transfer points accordingly; at prominent transfer points, additional reflectors increase the accuracy. Further fixed installations such as inductive wires, magnets or reflectors are not necessary. Structural changes in your production are not required, with the CALL THE DONKEY automated guided vehicle system you can manufacture flexibly and highly economically, even with small batch sizes.

Integrating automated guided vehicles lucratively

The quick installation and modification of the navigation system enables profitable use of the CALL THE DONKEY automated guided vehicle system right from the start. The industrial integration is simple and realises flexible and variant-rich logistics. Based on a unique mapping algorithm, the free laser navigation of the automated guided vehicle is extremely robust against changes in the environment - new mapping is thus rarely required.
The navigation is optimally controllable for the user on the basis of the graphic user interface; he can plan new routes by means of a comfortable software.

Safe: Free laser navigation of the automated guided vehicles

Driverless transport systems that drive with free laser navigation perform intralogistical transport tasks quietly, safely and in a goal-oriented manner.
Depending on the speed, the safety area adjusts automatically, resulting in optimal utilisation of the safety laser scanners. The CALL THE DONKEY automated guided vehicle has autonomous obstacle detection and thus also effective collision avoidance.
Free laser navigation combines the information from odometry and the two laser scanners to create an accuracy of ± 1 cm und ± 1 °.

Safe, flexible, lucrative - driverless transport systems for the logistics of the future!
