Imetron's DonkeyMotion is a contruction kit for customised transport solutions and automated guided vehicles (AGV) based on the Mecanum principle.
Furthermore, you can purchase Mecanum wheels seperately which eable your vehicle to move in all directions of a given plane. Conventional steering rollers are known to experience enormous forces during directional changes, which hinders comfortable movements and precise positioning.
Mecanum wheels do not show this effect! They show steady, uniform friction performance during the most spontaneous changes in driving direction. Even from standstill you move your vehicle in all thinkable directions in the plane of your shopfloor! With our carefully designed and tested building blocks of the construction kit you can freely superimpose all translational and rotational movements.
